Learning Revolution
Bring on the learning revolution...
As the title suggests, the great Sir Ken Robinson's follow up to his super popular talk in 2006 covers the crisis on how we as humans make very poor use of our talents.
Speaks of how in education, "we don't need an evolution, but a revolution." And in this day and age, we look at a 3 year old as 1/2 of a 6 year old, and that's not make sense! In extension to that we have always shared, early childhood education isn't a skim down version of primary school education.
This is very insightful and valuable learning on education systems around the world, as it shares how it is built around fast-food, standardised and about conformity. And just like fast-food, this model is "impoverishing our spirits and energy as much as fast-food is depleting our physical bodies".
